History:

Brandon and Sonja meet in college at Liberty University back in 1997.  On July 1, 2000 they tied the knot and had the privilege of having Dr. Jerry Falwell administer the wedding.  Earlier in the year, Brandon accepted a position with VoiceSteam Wireless / T-Mobile in the Washington DC market where he started his carrier as a Radio Frequency Engineer. 

In 2001, Sonja started working as a catering manager for the Capitol Hill Club (a Republican social club in downtown DC) where still today they are members of. 

2002 was a busy year for the Braunlich's.  Brandon made an unsuccessful run for Maryland State Senate, Sonja became pregnant with their first child, and they bought their first town home.  On November 1, 2002 the Braunlich's were blessed with their first child (It's a BOY.)  They named him Micah James Braunlich. 

In 2004 the Braunlich's found out that they would be expecting a second child.  They were told that this child would have Down syndrome.  At the same time, Brandon had been offered a position as a Sr. RF Engineer in Richmond, VA.  This position has allowed Sonja to become a stay-at-home mom and raise both of their boys. 

In the Fall of 2005 we moved to Chesterfield, Virginia (town outside of Richmond.)  Brandon accepted a position with-in T-Mobile which required us to relocate from our previous home of Laurel, Maryland.  After living outside of the D.C area for five years, the new way of life (here in Virginia) is welcoming.
